Why Ask Carri Exists
After qualifying as an occupational therapist in 2008 and entering private practice in 2011, Carri has spent more than 15 years helping thousands of children aged 1 to 8 years and their families navigate developmental challenges, build confidence and lay strong foundations for lifelong learning and development.
She has worked with children across a wide range of developmental, sensory, motor, emotional and school-readiness concerns, and remains committed to ongoing professional development, including postgraduate training in Sensory Integration and evidence-based approaches to child development.
Throughout that time, one pattern has appeared again and again: parents often recognise that something isn't quite right long before they know where to turn for help. Many families face long waiting lists, limited access to services, overwhelming information online, or uncertainty about whether they should be concerned at all.
Ask Carri was created to help parents navigate the journey of child development with confidence, providing practical guidance, personalised support and trusted expertise every step of the way.
The platform is designed to help parents better understand their child's development, recognise potential concerns early and discover practical ways to support their child at home.
The earlier parents understand what's happening, the better equipped they are to support their child's development and help them thrive.
In-person practice
Ask Carri is an extension of Carri's in-person private practice - not a replacement for it. For formal OT evaluation, group OT, or intensive individual therapy, please contact Carri directly to discuss what your child needs.
